Where Industry Meets Art

 

Cory Bonnet is blending art and industry to spark interest in advanced manufacturing careers through his initiative Patterns of Meaning. In partnership with the METAL program supported by IACMI, he will bring hands-on workshops to more than 1,000 K–12 students in Pennsylvania. By connecting historic foundry patterns with modern tools like CAD, sand casting, and 3D printing, the effort aims to show young people that manufacturing is creativity, problem-solving, and invention.

LAST CALL to Submit Your Proposal

 

IACMI is accepting proposals from members for the next round of Resource Pool Projects. These are technical projects that are supported with IACMI Consortium Resource Pool funding up to $50,000. They advance, utilize, or demonstrate emerging technologies that have the potential to attract higher levels of follow-on-funding. Submissions will be accepted through Sept. 12.
